My "old" FT player is CC... offer me something for him now or pay $40+ auction value.

Killer Brew has traded Franchise Tag, Hanley Ramirez, to Chows for Jayson Werth. I guess there is no trade veto? How did this one make sense

From the time a trade is confirmed owners have 72 hours if they would like to file a protest.

How did this one make sense Also, there is nothing wrong with this trade and it makes sense for both teams. Killer Brew had two Franchise Tag players - Miggy and Ramirez. You can not keep two so one had to be traded or go back in the auction. To pick up Jason Werth who can be kept for $13 for a player that you had to lose anyway is a great deal. And on the Chows side - picking up H. Ramirez as your Franchise Tag over CC makes perfect sense.
