It has been suggested to add a third round to our minor league draft

I think adding a third round to our minor league draft would be beneficial. This league was originally a twenty team league and 40 minor leaguers were selected. We are now at 14 teams and at 3 rounds we would have 42 players selected.
Only the top prospects are selected and are usually promoted to the majors in a few years and usually do not sit on the minor league rosters.
I believe more of our owners are using the minor league system to rebuild either through promotion or trades.

As we already have eight votes for the expansion to three rounds it appears that is the direction we will go.

I would be in favor of more minors if the league was run on a site which facilitated those needs. We already have issues every year tracking minor league players, it is not wise to add players to those potential problems. If and when the league moves to a site which facilitates our minor league rosters, I would then be in favor of going 5 rounds or so.
On a different note, I think if we are going to add minor league players or make any changes to the minor league setups, then we should eliminate the drafting of College and High School players.
