Since we're coming off our first year with a new rule, i thought maybe we could vote on whether to keep quality starts or go back to wins.
Not sure if we need to rehash the whole argument again since we've had it literally every year. But maybe have a final vote now that we've all seen the league run with both categories.

why revote every year? It was determined last year and let us give it a try for at least 2 years. My 3 tentative keeper SPs are all on division winners fron last year, so that wins might benefit me personally, No matter - leave it as is for at least this year.

I agree, but we voted on whether to change it from wins to QS like 3 straight years even though it kept getting shot down... It barely passed as it was if I remember correctly. I figured it would be a good time to reassess now that we've seen it both ways. I personally hated QS and they way it sapped value from relief pitchers.
I though a vote to put it in the books one way or the other would be appropriate

Please post your thoughts on the Quality Start vs Wins category here.
Thanks

I prefer QS and will vote that way if polled. RP's get holds or SVs or both, what UNIQUE stat do SP's get? That would be QS.

So every position needs a unique stat? Should we put in passed balls for catchers? Kidding aside, SPs sort of have 2 "unique" stats: wins and k's. You virtually can't win either category without SPs, just like you can't win holds/saves without RPs.
I like QS as a stat as well, don't get me wrong. But taking away a well established category like wins isn't the way to do. At the very least, I think we should have both wins and QS.
